Offering more than 25 years of vast experience in the field of education, Wendy Rydarowicz is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Academic Officer of The Educational Empowerment Group. Wendy has spent her professional career in education as a teacher and educational leader focused on inner city and at-risk populations.
Co-Founder/Chief Operations Officer
Reggie Ray is one of the Founders of The Educational Empowerment Group and serves as the Chief Operations Officer. Reggie has served in various roles within the educational environment for over 13 years including Teaching, Administration, Educational Consultant and Professional Development Trainer.
Director of Curriculum and Instruction - K-8
Danielle Artl is EEG’s Director of Curriculum and Instruction for K – 8 schools. She attended Bowling Green State University to obtain a Business Administration degree, then pursued her teaching license at Cleveland State University. Danielle went on to earn her master’s degree in Administration & Leadership from Bowling Green State University.
Director Office for Exceptional Children
Micah joined EEG in 2018 and brings his expertise from the fields of mental health, special education law, and behavioral intervention.
Dr. Jill Blanchard
Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Central Ohio
Dr. Blanchard has worked in the field of education for twenty years. She has joined the Educational Empowerment Group as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Central Ohio.
Her educational experience includes first through eighth grade, all content areas.
Director of Special Education
Meaghan provides oversight to the special education programs across all of The Educational Empowerment schools. This oversight includes keeping schools in compliance with special education documents, state reporting and state funding. She works closely with EEG’s Intervention Specialists, guiding them on effective ways to relate with their students and details on following special education laws.
Director of Community Resources
Sandy is consulting for the Education Empowerment Group developing community resources for children and their families in schools located in Youngstown, Columbus and Canton.
Executive Director of Assessment, Analysis and Accountability
Tina Davenport serves as the Executive Director of Assessment, Analysis and Accountability. In this role she will be responsible for establishing a rigorous vision for academic performance districtwide, developing systems to inform schools about school performance and ensuring that the district uses high-quality data to drive its decisions.
Lisa A. Davis
Vice President, Elementary Education
Ms. Davis joined Educational Empowerment Group in June 2016. She is currently responsible for the successful operation and academic success of Elementary schools within EEG.
Vice President of Operations
Veronica Fly has worked in the field of education for nineteen years. Currently, she is the Vice President of Operations in Central Ohio for The Educational Empowerment Group.
Manager of Student Information
Howard has worked with charter schools and EMIS reporting for more than 10 years. He studied Computer Application Development at Stark State College and Computer Science at the University of Akron. He has experience in multiple student information systems.
Director of Curriculum and Instruction - High School
Kate Gulliford recently joined the Educational Empowerment Group as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction. The primary goal for the Director of Curriculum and Instruction is to provide oversight, leadership and vision in the ongoing planning, implementation, development, direction and evaluation of EEG’s high schools’ curriculum and instructional services.
Director, Accounts Payable
Elaine Keller has spent the majority of her career in the Accounting and Finance field and has been a successful key contributor to overall business objectives and continuing industry growth. As EEG’s Director of Accounts Payable, Elaine is responsible for vendor relationships and management, expense reporting, reconciliations and management reporting.
Director of Student Services
Pam has been employed with Charter Schools for the last 17 years, and has an extensive experience in processing State Reporting. She is a Certified EMIS Professional and supplies outstanding and valuable knowledge in her effort to assist our schools accurately with student based reporting.
Director of Facilities
Samuel Miller started as the Director of Facilities for EEG in August 2018. He manages maintenance needs at each of our facilities to ensure a safe, and clean environment for the children to learn in.
Director of Marketing
Janet Pahlau has enjoyed a career as an artist and marketing professional in several disciplines. Her marketing design, production and coordination experience covers more than 22 years in print, and over 13 years in online marketing and design.
DIRECTOR OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION
Karl is diligent in his responsibilities to monitor Central Ohio High Schools and DOP implementation of the mission and vision of The Educational Empowerment Group and the full implementation of EEG’s 7 pillars.
Regional Director of Community Engagement
Kyle is a Stark County native, growing up in North Canton. Previously, Kyle served as the Director of Community Impact with the United Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties. As the Director of Community Impact, Kyle brought over $150,000 in new grants to Wayne County. Kyle also coordinated the Wayne County Opiate Task Force.
Michele brings 15+ years of accomplished experience and proficiency as an Executive Assistant to EEG. She’s recognized for her focus, self-motivation, and attention to detail with strong collaborative relationship building skills.
Thomas Michael Rydarowicz
Director of Teacher Support
Tom brings 15 years of teaching experience in the mathematics and social studies fields. Tom instructed within the charter school movement at Hope Academy Brown Street Campus located in Akron, Ohio. He currently serves the EEG organization in mentoring RESA teachers and also functions as Chairperson of LPDC.
She is a senior in college, pursuing her Consumer Marketing degree. Paige has worked in the marketing field for several companies, including work as a social media coordinator for five different companies prior to working at EEG.
Executive Director of Compliance and Operations
Jillian Thornton has over 13 year of experience in corporate compliance. Her previous experience includes serving as the Director of Compliance for a national background screening and investigation company.
Jillian also spent 8 years as the Director of Governance and Compliance for a national charter school management company and worked with schools in Michigan, Ohio, and Florida. In this role she worked closely with school administration, boards and sponsors to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all necessary compliance requirements. Jillian is committed to alternative education and has served as a volunteer board member on various charter school boards.
Director of Human Resources
Ann joins the EEG team as the Manager of Student Services and Human Resources. She brings with her a multitude of experiences as she has served in variety of capacities in her years in education.
